Excited to learn about band cultures in America, Band Together Foundation headed to New Orleans, a vibrant hub of musical heritage.

During our time there, we visited local Primary Schools, witnessing the global passion for music firsthand. Our Director, Martin Davison, led a workshop, sharing his knowledge with local musicians and educators, showcasing how the world bands together for great music.

Our team observed the students in action, experiencing the dedication and enthusiasm for music education. While in the South of Louisiana, we had the opportunity to witness some Marching Band Programs.Marching Bands are a significant part of Secondary school culture in the States, with students training during school hours and having marching band practice after school.

We attended a Marching Band Competition, where we saw incredible talent and work ethic from these musicians. Shortly after, we attended a Baton Rouge football game, watching college students perform in a state-of-the-art stadium, highlighting the important role music continues to play in students' lives, from Primary School to College.

Our experience in New Orleans was full of culture, knowledge, and inspiration, reaffirming our commitment to fostering musical education and cultural appreciation through Band Together Foundation.
